The screening stage if often necessary to achieve the uniformchip size demanded in the different processes. It is designed forcost-effective removal of oversize and fine fractions from thefeeding materials. Accept chips are efficiently separated from theoversized chips, and chip size can be controlled via replacement ofdifferent size of the screening holes.
The chip screen can be separated simulatorously. The screen isdesigned for two or three screen decks with successively decreasinghole sizes and stepwise decreasing inclination to reduce transportspeed. This design combines high capacities with high screeningefficiency. The top deck is made of perforated steel plate whilethe lower decks usually are made of wire mesh, which ensuresoptimum screening of fines and pin chips. All screen decks areexchangeable and can be ordered with perforations adapted toindividual requirements. The screens' high net weight increasestheir resistance to large volumes and high loads.
The chip screen machine can be mounted from the customer'sexisting steel supports, or as an option, a rigid steel basemounted frame can be provided to support the screen. It assures asuperior flexibility and capacity with only a little maintenance.It's suitable for medium-scale or small-scale board production lineand can easily and efficiently be adapted to the multitude ofplants operating around the world.
